When you log in you will see all the game mode options including Spin & Go’s, Sit & Go’s, Tournaments, Cash games and Zoom Poker, just swipe in the middle of the screen to run through all the different game modes available and click the pencil symbol on the right hand side to edit which buy-in you want to play. You can play all the same modes as on the full software, nothing is out of bounds, be wary of getting into a big tournament on your mobile though and make sure you are going to have enough battery life to play it out! I recommend getting a portable charger for any Pokerstars gameplay on the move, just to be safe!
Players have an option to click between Real money and Play money options at the top of the app, so you can play just to learn and have fun without risking any money too!
Table View
The table view is nice and clear, with players allowed to play up to 5 tables at once… Great for the real grinders out there. The best display is on larger screened devices like tablets, however playing on phones is just fine too, with simple buttons for checking betting or folding, with a bet slider with set options at your disposal its never been easier to play on the move.
Spin & Go’s
This game mode is the perfect thing for mobile play, with quick games to play on the move, going on a 20-minute train ride? There are great options available to users of the app, including being able to check what tournament tickets you have in your account, being able to access sports betting and other key essentials like changing the settings on your app, things like turning sounds on and off and multi-table options, these are worth looking into if you are going to play for a decent amount of time as fine-tuning these settings makes all the difference in making the gameplay as smooth as possible.
