So we have all heard Doug Polk slander Daniel Negranau in his position on Pokerstars rake increases, we’ve seen him become a meme for Pro Poker players around the world that follow Dougs hugely popular Poker News videos on youtube, well DNegs has a new sponsor now, that are willing to let his edgy side come out and that’s definitely what we are seeing.

Daniel’s BadBoy Side Coming Out

Daniel has been challenged by Doug Polk to a HeadsUp4Rollz deathmatch and after five years of not even uttering the name of the YouTuber that has been pulling him up on all sorts of things, like saying “F**k the Pros” when it came to rake increases making games not profitable for grinders anymore.

The reality is, Daniel has a bunch of fanboys and so does Doug… Doug’s fan base I would say are more the in tune with the poker landscape type of players, maybe tuning in to a video here and thereafter their poker session whereas Daniel’s fans are probably mainly recreational players that love him from playing on so many Poker TV Shows through the years.

Well… the time has come to choose which side you’re on because the pair are taking their games to the felt and playing each other heads up soon.

Trash Talk Commences

Daniel reflects on his earliest dealings with Doug where he called him out for using clickbait titles about poker players like Jason Mercier and himself.

However, one of the earliest interactions the two seem to have had is Daniel calling people out on using clips of old poker shows to create new content and then Doug posting a video about Daniel having his post removed when he did so himself.

It seems that maybe the thing that got stuck in Daniel’s tailpipe was a hand review where he painfully lost nearly $600,000 against Gus Hansen with a full house.

On the latest episode of “DAT Poker Podcast Episode #80” Daniel had some choice words for his opponent who he says has been obsessed with him for years, comparing him to Eminem’s “Stan” who is a fan that went crazy when he was ignored by the rapper and ended up going crazy and driving his car off a bridge.

He also claims he has some embarrassing dirt on Polk, including stories about Ben Tollerine making Doug cry because he wouldn’t admit he was the best heads up player in the world. Doug though has famously become estranged from Ben Tollerine due to some shady dealings that the two never settled involving coaching and profit splits.

Daniel claims that Doug got chewed up and spat out of the high rollers and that people would laugh behind his back, he also claimed that Doug has no chance of beating him heads up at Live Poker, saying that he’s a walking tell box.

He said that he would be 1% to win if they played in real life, but he’s going over to his turf and playing him at two tables of heads up no limit, which is Doug specialist area although he’s been retired from poker for some time now.

One thing is quite apparent and that is that DNegs really doesn’t like Doug Polk, I guess all those years of hundreds of thousands of videos of him being a ‘more rake is better’ meme has taken its tole, Daniel’s comments seem a little delusional though…

Claiming he was the worst player in the Highroller fields even though Doug actually scooped the Big One for One Drop for $3.8 Million and his last tournament cashes were in the Super High Roller Ball where he finished 5th and 2nd in the two last games he played, cashing for over $600k.
